Alcohol Ruined Me

Dear God,

About two weeks ago I got very drunk and blacked out, I don't remember much for about an 8 hour period. During the time I don't remember I hit my girlfriend. I know everyone here thinks I'm evil, but I'm not, it's the alcohol that makes me evil. I have quit drinking and got a counselor, so I'm going to make changes in my life, for good. The thing that is so sad is that her and I never fought, we were just the best of buddies, and now she hates me and wants nothing to do with me. I really do believe she was the "one" for me, we were two peas in a pod. Please God and Jesus, just let her see that this was not my intention, it was the alcohol, and now I don't drink anymore, please let her miss me and contact me, I just love her so much and want another chance. I'll never drink again, just please bring her back into my life somehow, someway.
