Husband who needs work

please pray for my husband to start work on Monday, 9-24-07...he has been given the opportunity to work for a great mortgage company but he can't start until his license is approved and it can take up to 5 weeks...we can't financially make it anymore...my husband has been out of work for 3 months and we have used up all of our savings, credit cards and every mean possible to survive and we can't make it anymore and more bills have become due...please pray the license gets approved by Friday so he can start on Monday...please pray for his well being also...he's extremely stressed out because he can't provide for me and our kids...please pray that God will ensure him that everything will be okay and to let him give it to God...Thank you...

Father, Our Provider, You have planned and provided for the needs of your children. As we see the details you put into creation and the way you established the paths for your servants time and again, we know that you delight in good work and providing. Likewise, please help Johnna's husband be able to accomplish provision for their family. Help him to find satisfaction and acceptance of himself apart from a job. Let this insight enable him to understand and minister to others in similar situations. Allow him to use his time fruitfully and fill it with moments that only times like these can afford.

Help them to be wise stewards of their finances. Please let them have your wisdom and mentors that you've taught how to handle times like these. Help them find relief through aid from those who love you.
Let them know Lord that this can help them become stronger as a couple and not to tear each other or family and friends apart.
May they walk in your strength. In Jesus Name, Amen

Dear God, how well I understand this situation. I too have struggled many times in my life to provide for my family financially. The strains it puts on relationships is tremendous, Lord. So with deep connection to what Johnna's family is going through, I pray for healing and correction to take place. Let right livelihood, that provides security so that family members can relax and enjoy each other, and service so that Johnna's husband can feel fulfilled and blessed, come to Johnna's family as Your gift to them, God. Your children love to receive gifts from you, God, especially those, like good jobs, that enable us to give as well. Amen.

Dear Lord, As Monday begins, let there be peace in Johnna's household. Let each know that you love them and care for them. Help discouragement or tension not reign, but hope and support. We pray that the job you have planned for them will provide them with the ability to meet today's needs and pay yesterday's debts. As through all hard times dear Lord, help us to draw near to you. Father and Provider God, We gladly lift up Johnna and her husband to you. Thank you for hearing our prayers for them before. We can tell they've been under great strain and it's hurting their relationships. Help them to have the peace that only your Holy Spirit can give in times like these. We know Lord that sometimes we think bad things or times shouldn't happen to christians and if they do it must mean you are far from us. Help them remember your Word where so many went through trials and temptations, but you were there to help them. Even you Lord Jesus suffered and you were innocent. Please bring good out of these times. Make their marriage strong Lord. Comfort them Holy Spirit. Please don't let them fall into despair, but know that you can give them the strength they need and the wisdom. Let them draw near to you and know that you will draw even nearer to them. Please bring godly financial counselors into their life and give them commitment and self control as you guide them through life style changes until their fiances are healed. Bring comfort and hope to them.
