His Voice, His Face

Board of Directors

Dear God,

Some times I wish I could speak to you face to face, and get an answer just like I would if I spoke to a friend here on earth.

I am at a loss to know if I should continue as a member of my Home Owners Association's board of directors. I really need an answer Lord.

I will accept what ever your answer may be.

I leave it in your loving hands. Amen.

7If you really knew me, you would know[a] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

8Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

9Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Lord I thank You because You had mercy with us even when we did not know You. I pray that You straighthen my brother Ricks faith. I pray that You give him complete conviction on his decisions so he may make all the wise choices. I pray You protect him from any wrong doing to him or his family. Lord You know his being apart of this association makes my brother exposed to many situation where You can glorify Your name. I pray that if it is Your will Lord and His purpose of being there has been accomplished so be it. Otherwise Lord I pray You strangthen him and give the courage and knowledge to fullfill Your purpose for the honor and Glory of Your name, and I thank You Lord because You chose us for Your glory. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Father, I pray for Rick to feel Your security and to feel more patient. Lord, Rick is unaware that when he prays to You that You are with him "face-to-face". Please help him to see that and give Rick the answers he seeks. We know that You stretch our patience to enlarge our soul. ThankYou and in Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, All of us join in Rick's desire to eagerly see you face to face. We have the faith that you continually help us to grow in and we're so thankful for you're presence. Yet, how can we not desire to hear your sweet, mighty voice distinctly.

You are so faithful in helping us know what will bring you glory. Please do so now for Rick. Help him to know without a shadow of doubt where you need his talents and dedication. Help his family be prepared to support him in this endeavor if it is your will.

Lord, we all know we're to be a light easily seen and not hid. We know we're to be the salt to the world. It won't always be easy, yet we pray that Rick will know best how to be a peacemaker and true to leading as you would if he continues serving in this capacity. Help him to guard his integrity. Let him be a leader that seeks your wisdom as Solomon sought and was granted this request.

May Rick only serve in this office if it will bring him closer to you.
