Hope and Love for my Husband

Please I am in desperate need of prayers for my husband (Damian) and myself (Stephanie)
We have been together for a wonderful 13 years and finally got married last year... we have been through a lot these last 13 years stuggling for work and finances, as well as other huge obstacles have placed serious burden on my husband and now b/c of the stress and depression... it has led him astray and into the arms of another woman.

I wish for you all to pray for Damian please keep him safe and out of harms way, assist him to get his life in order, and please pray for our marriage. I wait patiently loving my husband with every ounce of my soul in hope and faith that he will return to me on his own. I am worried sick hoping and praying everyday and night for his safe return.

Please pray that my husband will remember why he fell in love with me, that we have a great thing and that he will work towards ammending our relationship, and his heart. Please pray that we will become closer by this experience and that we can grow closer to God together. Please pray that we can forgive each other for neglect and for growing apart. Pray for guidance, strength and love. I truly want to make this marriage work, I have faith that it will, but need a little help from above.

Father God I lift up Stephanie and Damien to You. Lord, The enemy is attacking yet another marriage.I pray to You King of Kings,Lord of Lords,Almighty Sovereign God and ask that You command the evil one to take his hands off of this couple. Silence the enemy and his lies, and speak to Damien Your truth. Please work in his heart calling him unto yourself. Convict his heart unto repentance and restore this marriage in Jesus name.Lord comfort and strengthen Stephanie. Let Damien see Your love through her. Bring this man to his senses,to his knees,and home to his wife. I pray that this other woman be convicted and repent.I pray that You will constantly be reminding Damien of the right thing to do and restore his love for his wife. Lift the veil from his eyes and show him how foolish he has been and fill him with remorse for how he has betrayed Stephanie.Lord when this happens guide him to repent and forgive him and restore their marriage. I ask these things be done according to Your perfect will in the name of Jesus.Amen.

Dear Stephanie,

My heart broke when I opened my mail and saw your prayer request to me. I will certainly pray for you and Damian. I got so sad when I saw the picture of a young, lovely couple who look so in love. I pray that you will trust God in all of this and let him heal you and Damian. I pray that the infidelity you suffered will be forgiven in the name of Jesus. Adultery can be healed, and put under the blood of Jesus. Just remember when you forgive, forigve and mostly forget. I pray that the love that kept you together all of these years, will stay together. I pray that you and him would seek help from an elder in your church, or a mentor, or christian counselor. Please seek help before the relationship is forever broken. I pray that God will give you "agape" love for each other, the kind of love that Jesus has for each one of. Read 1st Corinthians, chapter 13, the love chapter. It will explain to you what love is... and what it is not. Read it over and over until it sinks into your spirit. It is not selfish at all. I pray you will seek God and let him show YOU where you need to repent and change in your part of the marriage. Be the first to say "I'm sorry and the last to say, I told you so". Say I love you, and mean it. God will repair this marriage if you both come to him in faith and believe he can and will reconcile you. Please email me if you need more prayer and want to talk, I hope you are better and stronger the next time we email each other. Know I am going through the same pain as you, I too, after thirteen years have lost my husband. I know how you are feeling, my heart aches for you and all on this website who have marital problems. Father I Pray for Damian and Stephanie please keep them both safe from the evil one, who is using deception and the pull of another woman to cause this husband to sin against You and his wife. Father open Damian eyes to be able to see your Holiness. As you did King David send him a word of conviction, of the situation he is presently living in. Reminde him Father that all that he is in a relationship with a woman belong to Stephanie alone. Give Stephanie comfort Father, help her to understand each person's actions is of their own desire and control. Help her to place all her hopes, faith, and trust in you. Bless her Father in the knowledge that you will never depart from her and that she is not alone.

A wife in need

Stephanie, I am going through a similar situation. My husband has been gone for several months. We just now are on speaking terms and will be starting counseling very soon together. It was a long road for me but I placed all of my trust in the Lord and He has taken care of my husband and I during all of this. I owe everything to the Lord. He is the only one that can help the both of you. Please just place all you trust in the Lord and give the Lord your heart to take care of. Continue to pray for Damien everyday and every chance you get. He listens to our prayers. Your prayers can change your situation. If you ever need anything please feel free to send me a message. I am where you are right now and I know how you feel.

Lord, I pray for you to mend Stephanie's broken heart and give her strength and courage to make it through all of this. I pray that you work in Damien's heart and lead him back home to Stephanie. I pray that You can rebuild their marriage into something beautiful with You as their foundation. Amen.

Father, I pray for Damien and Stephanie. I ask that you would restore that which was a covenant made between them both in Your eyes. I pray that Damien would be convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit and that he realize that he as sinned against You, Oh God and that your grace and mercy can turn him back to his wife. I pray that Damien would miss and desire his wife, Stephanie and turn away from this other woman and desire his wife and his wife only. I pray that You would give Stephanie during this time and Your peace that surpasses all understanding as she waits for her husband's return. I pray when he does return, that you would show them the love they have for one another and I pray that the relationship will be renewed as it was when they first began to date. Renew and refresh their marriage, Lord. Jesus, as You have reconciled us to Yourself, we ask that you would do a mighty work in this marriage and reconcile Damien to Stephanie.
