: can anyone answer?
I have prayed to god for the restoration of my marriage. I prayed to god to bring my husband home. I prayed for my husband to be saved to turn to christ, to stop his sinful ways, for all ungodly advice to be blocked, for his path to the pther women to be blocked, for all contact between him and the other women to be blocked, for the wombs of the other women to be closed, and for him to no longer be able to live with other family members or the other women any longer so he woud have to come home. Am I praying contray to god's words or am I praying with selfish motives so my praters are being hindered? I asked God for a sign. I have been standing for a while and it has been torture. I became close to god. I believe I layed everything at God's feet. I have fasted, prayed, read the word, read devotions, prayed scriptures with my husband's name in it. Confessed I received what I have prayed for. I have had the faith and nothing is happening. I asked god if it is meant for me to be wit my husband to mive in a might way that I would know its him. Im so confused because I havent heard anything. I even asked god to bring him home if its meant to be and he hasnt come home. I was awaken by a phone call at 12;30 from my husband last nite and I was so angry at the time that I blurted out a lot of nasty things that I dont know where they came from. I still felt like I was asleep. I keep praying for a change but there is no change in me or in him or our situation. I keep saying I wont be moved and I keep getting knocked down. I assume that God doesnt want me to stand. I still pray for god to bless protect and watch over my husband but Im no longer praying that he comes home. if god wanted him there wouldnt he have answered by now or wouldnt he just bring him home? I pray for him to flee from the other women and that hasnt worked. i just dont understand,

God gave you the sign, your husband called. You responded with anger. You pushed away what you asked for. Lets pray your prayer will be answered again, and lets pray that you will leave any hurtful words and resentment unspoken. We ask this in Christ's name, Amen

The Lord tell us that we can not doubt. Remember it is not when we want it but when the Lord says here you go. You must stop making this person the center of all you do. God must be the first one in your life. When God comes first everything else falls into place. We sometimes wonder why haven't we had our prayers answered yet? We need to truly look within ourselves and see if we really have submitted our lives to Christ. First seek the kingdom of Heaven. Do not be dismayed. Instead, ask the Lord to bring you peace, to bring you happiness. As God that he take all the pain inside of you, ask that He turn your mourning into dancing and when you least expect something to happen, the Lord will move his hand.
Lord help your daughter, provide her with what she NEEDS in her life right now. Take her in your arms and may your LOVE fill her life.

I understand all your feelings. My husband has a plan of leaving us already. He is just buying time. Yes he is with us but staying in a separate room. It is like "he is here but is not". I realised I cannot do anything on my own anymore as I have exhausted every imaginable strategies, but they are not effective bec. only GOD can change my husband. But w/ the help of prayer and prayers of all people here who unselfishly volunteered. The only thing I can do is to change myself, make myself better and pleasing to GOD that my husband may see in me the wonderful works of our LORD. I did not realized this until I read a book called "Fascinating Womanhood" and watching a movie called "Fireproof". Pls. give it a try, helped me a lot to cope w/ anger---our reaction to the infidelity. I am even surprised w/ myself if it was really me right now. At least I've done my part and now waiting for GOD's love and mercy to work in us. I am anxiously waiting for result too but I'm praying for patience bec. GOD will do everything in HIS time. Jesus pls. grant Vondiva and me a tremendous amount of patience as we await for your wonderful work in our lives.

im in the same boat as you our situations seem so similar but just stand and wait dont move just stand just start thanking god and just stand you have done whats required now just wait and watch god move and he will when he is ready but just dont give up
