My husband and our addictions

Please pray for my marriage. "So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." Matt 19:6 My husband of almost eight years (July) is moving out this weekend. We have struggled several times with our addictive behaviors, and we have repeated the horrible cycle 5 times in our 8 years. His name is Timothi. He is a wonderful, beautiful, caring, giving and loving person, but he carrys the weight of a troubled and neglected childhood with him to this day. He says that he is hopeless and that there is nothing and no one that can help him. He has lost all faith because he only relies on himself (and me) and cannot yet release this to God. Obviously we fail ourselves and each other, and the cycle repeats. I try to encourage him to trust in Jesus, but he is so hard toward God. He is running and hiding in his addiction right now, and then he hates himself for it and that is why he feels that the only way to stop hurting me is to leave. We have a beautiful 7 year old son that has found a whole new reason to trust in God, and I have realized that as much as I do not want my husband to leave, it is best, it will be the only way he will likely reach the place where only God is. Also, I must work on my codependence issues that enable his addictions. I just want prayer for me to have the strength from God to break the bonds that hold me to my unhealthy cycles, that I stop teaching my son codependence and start to teach him reliance on Jesus Christ, and that God brings my husband all the way down to the rock bottom and to himself where all he has is God. This hurts me so badly to see my husband in so much pain that he caves to his addiction and then the punishment he inflicts on himself for falling into it again. We love each other so very much, but the addiction wins every time. I came here to find a community of prayer warriors that will bring this issue to the throne of God and that Timothi, my son and myself will be lifted in prayer is Jesus name. I know that God has amazing plans for both of us. I know Timothi's hard heart is going to cause him so much more pain before he gives up and gives it to God, and I feel that pain as well. I am struggling with letting go, because I have spent the last eight years trying to show him that not everyone leaves you, and that people can love you for more than physical reasons. So I pray for the strength to release him to God's hands. I also pray for the strength to take care of myself and to do God's will rather than spinning my wheels worrying about Timothi.

Lord I rebuke the bondage that is afflicting this woman's marriage in Jesus name. I delare in your name Jesus that no more pain shall fall on this devoted wife and mother. Father, please send your angels to comfort in her time of need. Please protect her son from any harm and instances that may affect him for life... Father I know you have all our best interests at heart and only give us what we can carry, but Lord Jesus, I ask you to lift the burden of Gengreen, and shower her with the comfort and love that is unconditional. God, I beg you in Jesus name to answer her prayers and bring her family together.Amen.

Father God above in Heaven In Jesus Name I lift up G B and Timothi, their marriage, and their precious son. Please send them your comfort and guidance as they are faced with these troubles. Father God, we all know that we must face something in our time here on earth, but please help us to keep our Faith and know that the best thing out about trials is the blessing that comes after. Please keep G B and Timothi and their marriage in your loving embrace and restore their faith. Please Comfort, Protect, and Bless their Son as they are in the midst of these trials. Lord, surround this family with your warmth and blanket them with your love so they may endure these hard times they are facing. Let her see that they were brought together and created this child so they might revel in the wonders that are the lord, Jesus Christ. Send her patience and strength so that she may stand strong for herself and her son while Timothi faces his darkest hour. And lord, if it is your will, restore this family so that they may share their story of the love of Christ and the miracles that they might receive. In your name I pray, Amen.

God is doing a wonderful work in your life, I lift you up and prayer and ask that God gives you the strength and the patience to continue in His Word, in His World, and that you are directed by His Steps and not your own. As our own can bring us to destruction, but his ways will bring us glory.

I pray for Timothi to allow our prayers to reach him, and that he opens up to the Lord speaking to him. I ask him for strength to break free from the cycle of addiction, knowing full well the devil delights in his and all of our misery.

I pray for you to continue to draw strength and that you know that God has blessed your womb with a beautiful son, and know that you are doing and awesome job all for God's glory. Keep up the faith, stand strong, and lean on the Lord.

A wife in need

I will keep you, your husband, and your little boy in my prayers.

Lord, I ask that you bring healing to this family's many wounds. Lift up each member and provide them with what they need emotionally and spirtually during this difficult time. Help this man who struggles with addictions, help him to see how to free himself of this affliction with Your help and Your guidance. Lord, also be with this wife and give her the strength and wisdom to make it through this difficult time. Lord, restore this marriage and their love for each other. Also, be with their son who needs your comfort and love right now. Lord, help this family. Amen.

Father God, You are the only Source of strength for freedom. Freedom from bondage of addiction, freedom from co-dependency... ALL THINGS submit to the power and glory of Your Name. There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it, God. We HAVE to trust in that, even if there has not been a chance in our life to tangibly see that. You are capable. If we trust in You and submit to You, YOU WILL MOVE. We love You and cherish You, Father, because in moments of weakness and trials, it is that much more of a chance for You to make Your glory and comfort, Your provision and support known. We rest in that promise of You, Father, and we pray these prayers in the name of Jesus Christ, the sacrifice that gives us the authority to come to You in the manner that we do. We love You, Lord. Normally I would say more than this but today God put it o my heart just to tell you all one thing, BELIEVE.
BELIEVE.
Believe in Jesus and his will to restore all that satan has stolen.
Believe.
I am standint today on the promises of the Lord for the restoration of my marriage. My wife Tina will be home soon. She didn't tell me that, I havent talked to her in days. Jesus told me that she would be home soon because I believe. And I believe for all of you also.

JESUS I ask you to hold this family together and let them know that pulling a prat is not going to help them , JESUS take them in your loving arms and hold them so they can see your true love for them and keep them together so there son will know all your loving power, IN JESUS NAME I PRAY Amen
