Please Pray for My Wife

Please pray for my wife, who is feeling profoundly unhappy and dissatisfied with her life now. She has a degree from a prestigious university, but because of personality conflicts and other issues, her company has demoted her to a much lower position. She works hard, but she has become bitter, and quite depressed. Accomplishments and prestige mean a lot to her. I wish they didn't, but this is her way of looking at life, and it is harming her a great deal now. I am at a loss as to how I can help her to feel good about herself and her life again. My heart is aching, and I turn to God. And I turn to the members of this site as well. Please pray for Andrew B's wife, that God will come to her with messages of her true goodness, and not think of herself as a failure. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Father, Please surround Andrew and his wife with your angels. It's very easy in a pagan country to feel the spiritual attacks, but we know who holds the victory. Help Andrew and his wife to have humble and softened hearts that look to you for all guidance. May you protect his wife from the lies that our self-worth is found in what position of job we hold, but instead our lives have purpose because of your calling. May they find true happiness in and joy in staying focused on you and your Word. May they wear the armor of God as stated in Ephesians. Help them to not only know, but to feel your compassion and love. In Jesus Name, Amen

Lord, your word tells us the following in Colossians 3:5, 8-9 & 12-15

“5 So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world……8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. 9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds……12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”

Now Lord you know that not everything in this verse pertains to this situation but you do know how important it is for us to stay away from these things. I pray that Andrew’s wife would clothe herself in love, peace, tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. I pray that she would lay all her fears, failures, bitterness, depression, her need to be respected in the eyes of man, at the foot of your cross. That she would allow the issues that burden her heart to be your burden. Lord, let her surrender her life’s dreams and ambitions, her pride, her relationships, her work, her selfishness to you. Get her out of the way so you can work amazing things in her life. Please allow her to give it to you first thing in the morning so she does not have to experience trails or lose because you have taken things away from her to get her attention. Help her to turn to you every morning, so she can make it thru the day. Get Satan and his LIES away from her in the name of Jesus. Send angels to guard her mind, heart & mouth. I pray that Andrew would continue to pray every day for his wife because they are one, Lord, and he can come to you on her behalf. Help him to also give her back to you, surrender her to you because she is NOT his, she is yours. Help him to give up his rights to you, Lord, so that you can make it better than he ever though possible. Everyday help their marriage to grow closer to you and because of their closeness with you they will be closer to each other. Bless them both and give them Peace.

John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you [Andrew & his wife]; my peace I give you [Andrew & his wife]. I do not give to you [Andrew & his wife] as the world gives. Do not let your [Andrew & his wife’s] hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Peace on Earth

Sometimes life can get dark and dreary because of a work situation that isn't what you want. God gives us so many opportunities in life, and I hope that this is a sign from Him to "Mrs. Andrew" to look for another opportunity where you can learn, and grow and feel loved and appreciated everyday. May God's blessings be put upon you today and everyday of your life.

Lord, I pray for Andrew's wife. Lord, be with her and help her to come to you for her fulfillment and meaning in life. Help her to see the futility in accomplishments without you. Be with Andrew and help him to be an encouragment to her and give him wisdom for what to say and do. You are all we need Lord. Amen

Dear father, i pray for Andrew B's wife. It is so easy at times to forget how precious we are to you and how highly you esteem us. Help her oh lord to experience your love, to know that she does not need to accomplish anything to be loved by you. Help her to be grounded in your love, surround her with people who continually show her your love, and make her understand that she is the apple of your eye's a royal people, a people set aside unto you. I know this is possible cos you do the same for me every time. Cos if not for your grace, and love, i could easily be the same way. I also pray for Andrew that you give him the grace to continually reflect your love to his wife even as you continually lead him by the power of your holy spirit in Jesus name i pray. Amen

Father God,
We are seeing your saints be put through 'the ringer' of late...you are testing us all where our faith is the weakest. Andrew has been so diligent to openly share his concerns and Lord, this is one of them.

Father, touch "Mrs. Andrew". Not just a brush-by type touch or a caress, Father, I am asking for a deep-tissue-massage-therapy type touch that brings renewed vigor and healing to her body, mind, soul and spirit.

Lord, turn her from having her identity be in her performance. Change her identity from "who you are" to "whose you are"...we want her to be Your's, competely Your's Lord God.

During this transition, be with Andrew. Help him to know what to do, what to say, how to pray for his wife during this time. Be his strength and give him divine knowledge, the practical application of wisdom and a new awareness of Your voice whispering in his ear, "Turn right, turn left." (Isaiah 31:21). I ask this as a daughter of the King in Jesus' name. Amen.
