For My Grandfather

Please pray for healing of my Grandfather's athritis

Dear God,
you alone are marvellous and wonderful and all fulfilling. Lord please help my grandfather in his time of need. He has athritis and his legs hurt. He is such a gentle caring old man and he depends on you God. He is asking you to heal his legs and ease his pain. God please grant his request, please bless him and shower him with you unfailing love and hope. Please shower him with your grace like rain and make him comfortable. Please remove the pain from his legs so that he may take comfort in your name and shout your praises to the skies, for only you are deserving of the glory. Thank you Dear God for hearing my prayers. Amen.

Dear Father, Thankfulness for grandparents fills my heart at this moment. I remember seeing my father's parents when I was little, the kitchen table with the roosters in the window, the smells of coffee perking and bacon cooking, the peppermints in the candy dish, the Chinese checker board and marbles in the living-room closet. Thank you for each moment I can remember in their house, even the way their bathroom was scented with the fragrance of Dove soap. And the wonderful scratchy feeling of Grandaddy's beard against my face. (I was so little he could pick me up and hold me in his arms.) And the very special feeling of sitting in my grandmother's lap in her rocking chair, the most comforting memory I think I've ever had. When I feel afraid and need you, Lord, I remember how she held me when I was a little girl. The smell of the petunias in her flower bed, the school playground across the street, the peach tree in the backyard. Oh Lord, thank you, thank you, for all these tiny but wonderful blessings. Thank you for Grandmother and Granddaddy Carson, and for the ways they touched my life then and still do today. Thank you for the good memories of childhood. Please ease Eina's grandfather's pain and bring the healing he so desires. Thank you for this opportunity to show our gratitude for all you have done for us. In your sweet son's name, through Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you God for those that pray for me and for my grandfather. Please bless Cynthia and Thomas and grace thier lives with your presence and answer thier prayers. Please continue to protect my family and Bless my grandfather and heal his hurt and wounds and take away his athritis. Please hear our prayers. Amin.
