ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT In WWII, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for
one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace.

Each evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of our troops.


If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have. Together, we "CAN" make a difference!

Father, As a nation that has fallen and sinned against You, and done evil in Your sight. A nation that would allow unborn children to be murdered, to embrace sexual immorality, to have other gods before You, to be full of greed and gluttony, I ask You to forgive us. I stand in the gap Lord, for our nation, and repent of our evil deeds. Please forgive us, and do not turn Your face away from us, heal our land Lord, and let us know of Your presence! Please protect our armed forces who are doing their duty, protecting and serving the helpless. Bring them home safe and sound, with words of praise to You! In Jesus mighty Name I pray.

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America . If you would like to participate: each evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central, 7:00 PM Mountain, 6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens and for peace in the world.

If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along. Someone said if people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

O Lord, protect our brave soldiers. Put a hedge of protection around them. Keep them from pain and suffering, and if it is your will for one of them to suffer, please make him or her aware you are alongside them, praying for them. Give them rest and sustenance, strength and courage to go on when so many in this country chose to condemn what they are doing. Praise You O God for giving them the courage to go to war and fight for our freedom. In Jesus name. Amen

Dear Lord,

I pray that you put a hedge of protection around our men and women fighting for our freedom. Bless them with courage and strength in their times of need. Bless them with the courage to be away from their families. Also, bless the families of these men and women and let them all be filled with faith that the troops will come home safely.
