A Prayer for Myanmar

Heavenly Father, lend Your aid and comfort to those who have recently lost so much in the devastating Cyclone Nargis that has left tens of thousands of people dead or missing and countless others homeless and displaced. We pray that restoration comes swiftly. We pray, O Lord, that You soften the hearts of Myanmar’s leaders to allow international aid to flow into the country so the process of rebuilding can begin. We ask You, mighty God, to give strength and resilience to the survivors and to take the souls of those who have perished to Your bosom and grant them everlasting life in Your Kingdom. We pray these things in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Dear Lord,

I ask that you use the U.S. to be the hands and feet of Christ to provide the aid that's needed at this time in Myanmar. Lord, what these people are suffering is beyond anyone's imagination. I ask that you bring peace, healing, and descernment, and that you soften the hearts of those who may not trust in the U.S. to continue to bring aid. I pray Lord, that the people come closer together and embrace the broken-hearted, and the wounded. I pray that they draw closer to YOU... and call upon YOU...in every aspect of their lives. I pray this in Jesus most precious name. Amen...

Lord, I come asking for divine order upon the people of Myanmar. You are still in control and I know You still care about your people. Bring about restoration, strength and help to everyone who has been affected of the deadly cyclone. As I ask for divine order for that country, remember those who have been affected by the many tornadoes in our country and the deadly earthquake in China. I know you are speaking, Lord, but let others know you are calling for repentance and obedience through these and other disasters. Let the all the people be reminded if they pray, seek You, turn from their wicked ways and humble themselves, then You will hear from heaven and heal our land. Lord, we need healing throughout this universe. Heal now, in the name of Jesus, heal now. Amen!

Our Father, Who Art In Heaven. Hallowed Be Thy Name. Lord God you are ruler of all the universe and you have everything under control. Lord, i ask if you would comfort the families of Myanmar, touch there hearts and bring their scattered thoughts together. Help them to move in your direction past this devastation. We know that there are many who are weary, troubled and distressed, but in the name of Jesus, bring clarity and comfort. Touch every family with your strong hands, carry them in your way, hold them with your big arms and guide them throughout this devastation. Father, there were souls who belonged to you, i know you have given them their new mansions, which you went many years ago to prepare. Thank you for being the Master Builder. Heavenly Father,

You know the level of suffering in Myanmar is so great. The grief over lost loved ones, the lack of clean water, food and medical supplies is overwhelming. There are Christian organizations on the standby waiting for the go ahead from the leadership of the nation to aid the suffering. Lord, the leaders seem to have too much pride to accept aid or else they take it and waste it. It is a deplorable situation when the leaders act so irresponsibly toward the citizens who are in dire need. I know You are aware of all this Lord, but I come alongside many others who are thoughtful of our neighbors on the other side of the world and seek through You and Jesus relief from their suffering. You are the God who breaks through impossibilities. Please this day breakthrough the stronghold of pride in that country. Bless the people. Do not let Satan continue to have his way that leads only to death. Bring Your victory to Myanman today, Lord. Through Jesus, Amen
