Our Father in heaven!

Thank You, Father, that You have made our bodies the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in us, Whom we have from God, and we are no longer our own. For we were bought at a price; therefore we should glorify God in our bodies and in our spirits, which are God’s. [1 Corinthians 6:19-20] You said, “Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is the house you will build for Me? Where will My resting place be? Has not My hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” The house that You delight to dwell in, You said, “This is the one I esteem: HE WHO IS HUMBLE and CONTRITE IN SPIRIT, and trembles at my word.” [Isaiah 66:1-2]

We humble ourselves because we realize we are sinners and in need of forgiveness, healing and restoration. We need to be forgiven by and restored to the ones we love and hurt by our sins.

Let us therefore, from this day forward, walk and live in the Holy Spirit, so that we will not carry out the desire of the flesh. “Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” [Galatians 5:16-24]
Please help us to bear this fruit by guiding us in the constant study of Your Word and constant fellowship with You in our prayers. Please teach us to obey and love these instructions:

“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, CLOTHE YOURSELVES WITH COMPASSION, KINDNESS, HUMILITY, GENTLENESS AND PATIENCE. -- BEAR WITH EACH OTHER and FORGIVE WHATEVER GRIEVANCES YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST ONE ANOTHER. -- Forgive as the Lord forgave you. AND OVER ALL THESE VIRTUES PUT ON LOVE, which binds them all together in perfect unity. [Colossians 3:12-17] Help us to trust and rely on Jesus’ promise:

“But SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS [restoration and prosperity] SHALL BE ADDED TO YOU. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” [Matthew 6:33-34]
