For My Career

Lord,
I am waiting on your direction. You have brought me this far through faith and I praise you for your loving care and incredible blessings thus far.
Now though I feel as if I, like the wandering children of Israel, am wandering in the desert looking for water with nary a stone in sight.
Lord keep me faithful in my covenant with you, let me not forget to praise and recognize you with my tithes and other offerings. Guide in the search for the correct job and company and pour out blessing as you have promised. I praise You.

Father, You are with RF during this time. Just as the children of Israel walked the sandy, hot, waste land on their way to the promise land, help RF see this as a temporary time in life. That the promised land is ahead.

You tell us to remember this life on earth is our training ground that is just a speck of our eternal lives. There are times hard to remember how you provide. That's why it's so important to build our own altars of stones of remembrance when you answered prayers before. So, that when we gaze upon it we review and see how you've been faithful. RF knows how you took years to provide for the future by guiding Noah and his family and the animals. RF is more important than the sparrow or the flowers of the field. Please encourage RF and use this time as a major growth period in life. May it turn into a cup that overflows and blesses others as well.

Our Father, You have placed the desire to work and do it well in us. We gain self-respect and respect of others in our accomplishments and how well we perform them, as if unto our Lord and not unto man.
You so often help us to know what to do through people, events, and your word. Help RF to be patient and encouraged during this challenge in life.

May the job gained bring honor to you. May RF be a witness of your greatness. Open doors that aren't even know about yet Lord.

Help RF to use this time wisely while in between jobs. Let there be training opportunities, volunteer opportunities, prayer, Bible, and quiet time opportunities, ways to bless family and friends.
Sometimes we become so focused on what isn't available that it's hard to see what is a blessing during this time. Help RF and all those facing similar situations to see through your eyes.

Dear God, I pray that RF will be guided to a career that brings fulfillment, abundance and security, and especially opportunities to serve Your will and Your plan to shine light on the hearts of many. I know that within Your wisdom is a vision of all Your children happily and creatively engaged in fulfilling and rewarding activities each day. Please guide RF, and all of us who are similarly seeking, to fulfill Your vision for us. Amen
