KIOWA Native Americans

Adopted Son probably part Kiowa

Lord, my second child is as YOU know - adopted. He is biracial (white & black) and POSSIBLY also part Kiowa.

He researched the KIOWA tribe for school. His birth mother had "Kiowa" as her middle name.

Lord I pray for the birth mother, Shawna, that she is staying onthe straight and narrow and following YOU. I don't know if she knows yOU but I pray she comes to YOU and permanently leaves the destructive street life.

Also I pray Dyl can someday meet her when he is BIG> I pray he respects her for keeping him safe and leaving him at the hospital when she knew she could not care for him.

I pray also for the KIOWA tribe - that GOD bless them and that they grow and PROSPER. I pray their prosperity come through the gifts and STRENGTHS you have given them. They are ARTISTS and WARRIORS. I thank YOU that some KIOWA now fight for this couhtry.

Thank you that schoolkids learn more about Native Americans than in the past.

I pray that some KIOWA are called to use their art skills to tell about YOU.

YOU are not a white persons' god. YOU were brought to the Europeans by outsiders from the Middle EAst and Rome.

Help the KIOWA persons who know YOU to worship YOU in ways that come from their hearts, cultures and that glorify YOU.

This is such a beautiful prayer, God. You are not a white persons', brown persons', or any exclusive type of person's God. You are incapable of loving any of Your children less than others. Such is the nature of Your Love. Let all come to know Your love in a personal way, for when each of us experiences You personally, there is no need for defensiveness. We need not be like siblings fighting over our parents' attention, which is how we must often seem to You now.
