For the Discouraged

Provision

Heavenly Father, there are many as You know, who are experiencing foreclosures all over this country. They are discouraged and feel helpless because they have not been able to keep up with their mortgage. Some have lost their jobs, some have been laid off of work, some cannot keep up with the rising cost of groceries and gas. Lord, I ask you to help these people get through this. I pray that you will supply them with what they need in order for them not to lose their homes. I know that You own everything we have Lord, we are just stewards of these things, but right now, I ask that you would pour out miracles around this country to help these people who are having to make a choice between food and their mortgage. I ask that you would provide supernaturally for these people Lord. That You would send laborers to help keep them in their home, to put food on their table, to provide jobs for them. Bring encouragers alongside these people who are so discouraged at this time. Show us how to bring hope to those who feel hopeless. Show us creative ways that we can help. Let us, your followers, not to turn our heads, but to pick up the slack where needed. Show us how we can be the Hands of Christ to those who are hurting. Father, we ask that you would turn things around in this country so that not one more person has to leave their home because they can't afford it. Lord, You are Faithful, when we are sometimes faithless. Move across this country Lord and bring resoration. We give you all the praise, honor and glory. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Merciful almighty Father I come before you and stand in agrrement with this prayer. Lord we need you everyday in the great and the small intimate places in our lives. Father we ask in the name of Jesus for your blessing to all who are hungry, who are poor, who are trying to support their families and pay their bills. Lord we believe in your word and come together in the body of Christ to lift our cries for help unto your throne in your hevenly kingdom. Show your power on earth Father that we who believe may say to all of the earth-this is what our Almighty God, the creator of it all can do! We praise you and we thank you Lord-in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, there is so much pain in this world, but you are not surprised. You never promised us that there would not be pain and suffering, you only promised that you would be with us no matter where we are in life. I pray Father that your presence be made known to those who are hurting. I pray that our eyes will be opened to what you'd have us learn from this and that our ears will hear your voice speaking in the darkness and we'll act of on those things that you lead us to act on. Thank you Father for your presence and your peace that can be found even in the midst of the storm. In Jesus' name I pray - AMEN!

I join Maria in praying this powerful prayer for those in need. These times, which are so trying, cry out for Prayer Warriors, for radical, transcendent solutions, and for a humbling of hearts and minds everywhere. Maybe times are so hard now so that humanity can at last realize that without You, we truly are nothing, and we are unable to save ourselves, but must invoke the Divinity within us. Amen.
