Prayers to reach the minds of young people.

Father God, through this supplication I(we) come before thee to stand for the need of love and peace in the minds and hearts of youth, especially urban young people inclined to surrender to the influences of the street. Within the family units of these youth, and if they are without family, I(we) ask that they will seek and find guidance to lead them to you, Lord.

Lord, dry the tears and heal the wounds (especially the emotional wounds) of abused women; place in their hearts and minds the strength to get out of the situation of abuse.

Lord, we need you now. Co-worker Julene is on her way to Minnesota to be near her father, Allen Joseph, who has been waiting on a lung transplant list for some time. He is in surgery today. Father, you are the ultimate surgeon...guide the hands of the team working to restore your child Allen's ability to breathe with a donor's lung. Give Julene travelling mercy as she journeys to Minnesota. Comfort the hearts and minds of the family as they await with joy and anticipation, the outcome of this procedure. Lord, I(we) offer thanksgiving to the family of the donor and all the healthcare workers. And most of all, I(we) thank you for your grace. We ask blessings to all and give them peace which passeth all understanding. These things we stand before Christ and ask on this day and always.

Father, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight. Lord, I submit you my prayer for Savalas that you will lead the pen as he continues to write stories and verses, such beautiful words in completing his novel. He is a bright and shining light to many who read his words. And Father, he glorifies your name. Bless his talent, his love of family and friends, and keep him focused and committed to his goal.

Heavenly Father, thank you for being the almighty, the Lord of life who showers us with magnificent grace and mercy. The gifts you have given are being used in abundance and I can see the rewards that are about to come.
