Uniting the World Through the Power of Prayer

I want to Praise the Lord...for His word is mighty.

Dedicated to: B B.

Thank You Lord!

I have been doing quite a bit studying His ways and what Christ and being a Christian is all about. The study that I am reading right now is "How does God treat sinners?" The beginnng of the study was concentrated on determining "who is a sinner?" Ask yourself that question and if you come up with any other answer beside "all of us", go back and read the Bible again...lol. The next section of the study has several specific examples of Jesus dealing with "sinners", and how He so intelligently, beautifully and lovingly does...I recently had two separate conversations with people about homosexuality. While I'm not going to go into anything about that, in particular, what I want to say is this. What business is it of ours to judge or ridicule ANYONE who has a lifestyle that does not exactly jive with what we think or even know is "right". Listen to what I am saying...No matter what we may think of other peoples lives, ONLY GOD KNOWS THEIR HEART. So, let us look at our lives first. “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. Matthew 7:1-5 Then, don't think you are so sure the log is gone if you are walking around thinking you are "so RIGHT with God"...read Luke 7:41-48 It ends with, "...so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” We are called to love; everyone...PERIOD. Not judge; love. People who are living "sinful lives" do not need to be judged, ridiculed, hated or humiliated, they NEED to be shown the unconditional, immeasurable LOVE OF GOD and given the opportunity to hear the Word and that Jesus died for them; and us and everyone. Not how WRONG they are... I am, by no means, trying to say I am perfect or that I live my life this way every minute, all day long. I have to catch myself often judging and condeming, and I humble myself before God, right now, in saying all of this. I just pray that HIS love show through the words I have written here. It is their life, their choice...if we could show the tiniest amount of God's love, THAT might make all the difference... but no matter what, their life is their choice-NO ONE ELSES. I just wonder how we expect to share the word of God, but we do so with anger and condemnation, when the very word we are sharing is LOVE? I say "WE" because I have a log in my eye,as well. It is our journey to do out best to remove it, with God who strengthens us. Then, we can tell others of our experience, as He gloriously delivered us from the log in our eyes. It is our job to love and pray and continue to share the tremendous deliverence of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Praise You Lord, and thank You for Your wonderful, powerful Word, and how You made it so easy to understand. I pray that You give each one of us the urgency to not only read it, and understand it, but to do our best to live it...for You and Your glory. In Your precious name Lord Jesus, Amen.

8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. 9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. 11 In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

There is a song by Casting Pearls "You Alone" I love this song, and I sign it as a prayer to God everytime I hear it one the radio:
I've come to Your throne here so cold and alone
I'm calling on Your name
Ilifet my hands to the sky open wide and I cry Lord take me away
Take this heavy heart and this weary soul ans set them free
Remove myself till there's nothing left but You alone in me
I'm l;etting go of all that I know
I'm holding on to You alone
I lay it all down, down here at Your feet
I want You alone, You alone
If I go to the heavens above Lord Iknow You are there
If I make my bed in the depths Lord I know You are there
If I rise on the wings of the dawn or settle on the far side of the sea
Even still Lord I know You will, You will always be there with me
