God's Hedge of Protection

Gracious and merciful Lord, I ask this day that you would surround our soldiers who are away from their families as they serve this country. I pray, dear Father, that you would place Your hedge of protection around them Lord, keeping them from harm. I pray that you would give them peace even in the midst of danger. I pray for those who do not know you Lord, that they will seek you. I ask that you make Yourself known to them and they would come to know you personally as their Lord and Savior. I pray that those who know you will speak boldly about the saving grace of the Gospel and that many will be saved on the battlefield as a result.

I pray that you will show us how we, who are here, can encourage and support those families who have their loved ones away at war.

I thank you that you hear our prayers. In Jesus Name. Amen.

A wife in need

Lord, please be with the many men and women who are away at war. Protect them from harm and send them home safely and soon. Also Lord, be with the soldiers who have come home and are suffering with afficitions caused by the war. Help heal them physically, mentally, emotionally, and finacially. Lord, also be the families of the soldiers. Help comfort them in this difficult time. Lord, please end this war soon. Amen.
